Probably score and then inevitably concede a bit later on. If we lose, Lambert will still be there next game so does it matter? The answer is no.

I have reached the point where I don't really care any more. And its not even Xmas yet!

0-0 or 1-1

Warnock will have his lot fired up for this. We don't have a good record there and I expect us to get beaten even with Benteke back. This might be the straw that final breaks the camel's back.

Just hope Benteke comes back firing. Think I would start him and Weinmann, and have Gabby as a winger with either Cole or Grealish on the other side. ZOG hasn't been doing enough to warrent a place for me.

It is a tough game, and Palace are getting back into decent form too.  I felt it would be a draw before the Burnley game, and I still think that now, sadly having not won at Turf Moor I don't think a draw is enough here.  1-1 Benteke for us of course.

3-0 Palace. Thought we played some exceptional football. We go again.

I know things are bad, but we have won the occasional game here and there in the last 48 months.

Grealish for Cole

Benteke for gabby

Not overly keen on Weimann but I think he's got three goals two assists , so would probably bring gabby on for 25 mins when people are tiring . Gabby always starts ok but he can't concentrate for a full game.

We need a point here . I'm going for 1 1.  But this is a much harder game than Burnley

Why would you swap Cole for grealish?

Well this is my first live match in almost two years, and the last one we narrowly lost to Arsenal. Before that saw two draws during big alec's loan season.  So the home win over Liverpool at the end of 2010/11 was the last match I saw us win live.  Would love that to change Tuesday.

I have no confidence in us being able to beat anyone at the moment. Palace to nil. Hopefully Lambert sacked sometime soon.

Probably because it's highly unlikely he can do 2 matches in 4 days. He was absolutely fucked after about an hour. I don't mean slowly tiring, he did a run and that was it. Hands on hips, bending over, anything to try and get his wind back.

Joe cole will probably be in traction for the week after yesterday's exertions. I would save him for the Leicester game a week today.

Fair point. Probably a bit much to ask of him at this stage, which is frustrating, he could link up well with benteke
