Joe Cole with a bit of quality in the box.  Just a question of how often he can get up there, and how quickly.

Thank god I didn't slag Cole off in the pre-match thread, not like me at all, note to self....must be slipping

Off back outside to continue cutting back my clematis

Richard, be honest. All these plant references are euphemisms, aren't they? *winky thing*

Cole's been brilliant.
That he has.  Maybe this'll be the role for him - in games against the poorer sides where his quality will stand out more.  Can't see there's much to be gained playing him against the really top sides.

52% possession. Wasn't expecting that.

Cole has been a pleasant surprise but Gabby should buried one of the two good chances he had.

Overall, a lot better.

Yeah, time and space and he's still got the quality.  I've been really impressed.

Ha, I wish Sam! It's a bit of an in joke amongst a few of us on here that when I am out cutting my clematis in the garden, we do well. And I genuinely was too! It's my birthday and Villa never ever win on it, so everything crossed for the second half as it would so make my weekend
