This will be like an FA Cup 3rd Round match to Burnley - big (wounded) premier league scalp ready for the taking.

Hope I'm wrong but I think we will lose 2-1.

A third of the way through the season and a 12-pointer!

We will play our usual game and win 1-0

I watched Burnley on Saturday vs Stoke - (my kids team were invited their to take penalties in front of the Boothen End at half time - my lads penalty below)

Burnley were very good down the left hand side - and both goals came from their left sided player beating Bardsley - I am sure Hutton will be harder to beat.

After they scored their goals - they just shut up shop - the only real joy Stoke got was when Moses attacked the full back , instead of playing the ball back all the time.

The game is crying out for width - I would start Grealish on Saturday - but I doubt our football genius will do that.

If we score first - we will win.

0 - 0 it is then !

This promises to be a great day out for those 4,000 faithful heading up there, or the most depressing mass gathering since the Heaven's Gate cult knees up of '97.

I think we'll get a win, 2-1, Gabby with the winner.

Burnley are not good enough to win three on the spin. Our defence looked half decent on Monday. We can't keep losing forever. We will win this one. 1-0 to the Lions!!

Stats:-

We have not won at Burnley since 1936. Our record since then is...

P 23 W 0 D4 L 19

Has to be a win Saturday, surely?

George Boyd presumably?

Think Boyd played on the right most of the game, Dave. First goal came from Ashley Barnes cross, second from Michael Kightly cross.

Two wide players and a team having a go - sighs ..............

Kightly's got previous good form against us as well - think he brought Stoke back into the game before Lowton's volley a couple of years ago.

I'm looking forward to this one, haven't been to Burnley before let alone the ground.

I like Burnley because I made my one and only appearance as a ball boy at Villa Park against them, when Peter Noble scored both goals in a 1-1 draw. I got paid 25p and got a chance to wear the rather nifty blue umbro tracksuit. Happy Days!

We will win this comfortably I would think and I will celebrate after with large quantities of Benedictine.

As has been mentioned, our record up there is woeful. On the plus side i'm going and we never lose when I go on a rare away trip. Nailed on draw.

A match we need to win, and should do so. Could easily be a snooze-fest draw, but I'm saying 2-1 Villa with Weimann scoring twice.

My first game !!!! Sat on a stanction on witton bank, with my Grandad's arms around me in case I fell off - I thought Burnley were great because they scored for us.
