A point more than I expected, but yet again, the same familiar pattern of sod-all possession, and just the one shot on target.

Okore and Clark did well.

Bent for Sanchez was one of Lambert's most baffling moves ever.

Hutton made a difference. Thankful for any points at the moment. We might be able to kick on once Benteke and Delph return.

Not a bad point in the context of where they are and where we are. Weimann should have sealed it 10 mins from time though.

An utterly uninspiring, craft-free, unentertaining point.  YES!

Sit back concede ...textbook Villa

Our ball retention is shocking every match. The subs were poor And upset balance of the team leading to the goal.

Some minor positives, Okore looked alright, Gabby scored and seemed interested, we weren't battered even though they were clearly better than us and we actually defended ok. A point against the in-form team of the league (who are still 2nd in the league) and we kept their very dangerous attack quiet. All in all I'll take that, as long as we go into the next two games knowing what we need to do to get 6 points.

Phew. Would have settled for that before the match. And after it, given that our team cannot pass nor shoot. Freedom of Birmingham to Fraser Foster.
