On paper, Villa will do well to avoid a right twatting. Although, maybe it might at least get Lambert the long overdue shove.

Personally, I'd rather we won.

Come on Villa, 3 points and some attacking intent please. Let's get our season back on track!

That Mane is a good player.

Especially when his galloping down the wing.

Get your prayer mats out. Batten down the Hatches and any other phrase that might help!

I wonder if Long has thought about facing Hutton again?

Okore finally, that's made me happy! Shame Grealish isn't playing though.

I'm afraid, very afraid. Okore looked dreadful when he did play in pre-season.
I would love to be wrong.

Did he? I must have been watching different matches then. I thought he was very good.

I thought he looked excellent and I only missed the ones abroad

From the very limited times he has played, I remain unconvinced, he wasn't what I would call excellent if I'm honest
But we all see things differently, I hope your reading of him is correct and I am wrong with my initial thoughts

Great to see the parade of old players but Woodward's intros were cringeworthy

First we play the Top 5 from last season, then we play the surprise teams of THIS year (West Ham & Southhampton), then the injuries and bans...someone up there must really dislike Villa this year!
