He went on WM once I recall and just came out with club spin for 30 mins. Which I'm guessing was his job brief.

This is yet another of the things that piss me off. We complain that club employees don't do their job properly then when the head of media/communications/PR or whatever the buzz word is today puts out a positive angle, which IS his job, we complain that it's all spin.
It was all spin though . It was all guff that was as sincere and robust as a Madoff investment plan.
