With the backline we put out we will concede goals. Perhaps 2-3 if we're lucky but possibly more.
I'm also fully expecting a very negative midfield from Lambert in this one. I think he'll stick with the three of Sanchez, Westwood and TC. But I also suspect he might sacrifice Zogbia for the workrate and defensive capabilities of Richardson.

I cannot see us scoring. In fact I think we'll barely register a shot on target.

We just need to hope that when we hit that run of games against our relegation rivals we can find some goals from somewhere. We're getting close to the stage we're every point counts. A shit December could be too much to recover from.

Has anyone contemplated we could be bottom 3 by the time we kick off Monday ! Then we could actually go bottom by 5pm next Saturday.
This club needs to wake up and fast.

The club that puts you to sleep (in the manner of a much-loved pet maybe) needs to wake up fast!

Dream on guys. There is no waking up fast scenario here or is one likely for a long time to come. We are in terminal decline and relegation is, and has been for some time, an inevitability I feel. While I fully understand all the huge disadvantages it would bring and all the implications about becoming a Leeds or a Wolves etc, I actually think it is what is now required to re-ignite the spark and passion in the club that has been lost in huge quantities. So I'm prepared to take that risk

Fuck getting relegated. It will be no easier having shithouse clubs play like a cup final against us week in week out with this side we've got. I'm still hoping we get a decent manager in between now and being sold and can '' go again ''.

We could also be 8th or something daft. Let's just take it game by game. We were going to be ripped a new one by the Emporers new clothes team the other week, yet kept a clean sheet and took a point where Liverpool and Man City got beat.

Well yes, if we beat the saints & burnley and other results go our way we could go 6th, or reverse scenario bottom.

Two wins on the trot are about as rare as a Lambert interview where he doesn't claim we were excellent.

Guess the real likelihood is we will draw both games 0-0 and stay about 16th.

That does sound a whole lot better than 'Proud History, Bright Future' as a strapline I have to admit

The good lord has not been too good to us with regard to injuries. We could go down or we could stay up. Nobody knows do they?. The good news ,however, is that it is only November. So Lambert has time to sort things out so at least we stop in the Prem albiet in a very lowly position .

That, gentlemen (and ladies),is the absolute pinnacle of our ambitions. Not the fans, but certainly the owner of our club.

MNF means we will have in depth analysis of our defence frailties from Gary Neville. He's always good to listen to .

I don't think it is. I believe he wants success as badly as we do but like all owners with limited funds he's reliant on his staff and hasn't really got an unblemished record in appointments.

That is not an ethos, merely a fans opinion that we are not relegated in November with a serious injury hit squad.
