Dreadful performance (but Lambert will think it was good), dreadful tactics (but Lambert will say we tried to win the game), dreadful result.  0-2 Southampton. Usual huff and puff defending, they will finally score, we collapse and game over.

Lawro vs Citizen Khan(Aston Villa fan Adil Ray)

Lawrenson's league table is funny. He hasn't predicted Liverpool to lose yet!

Can only see a comfortable Southampton win and perhaps it will end Lambert's reign?

No idea where a potential goal might come from for us.

------------Guzan
Hutton, Okore, Clark, Cissokho
----------Sanchez----------
-----Westwood, Richardson
----------Cleverley
------Gabby, Weimann-------

What a terrible looking line up.
agree that team has relegation written all over it.

Just to offer a slight defence to our defence, defending is supposed to start at the front when we don't have the ball. Look at how England pressed on Tuesday (ok it was only a friendly against a poorer team), surely we could at least try to help out the back four.

Yes they make mistakes but being under pretty much constant pressure from the off with little or no help in front of you means its when, not if, you make a mistake which might result in a goal and more moaning. Remember its fine if a forward misses or screws up.

(and yes I'm an old school centre-half)  ::)

They opposition will get pointed at though, that's almost the same as a tackle.
Agree pointing is under rated as a defensive measure. "Old School Centre Forward"

It's also a team with 4 players missing from it.

If we can concede less than 8 we'll have done well.

I think we've suffered from a lack of decent pointing since Barry Brannan left, what is Lambert doing in training... ;-)

Game has not even played yet.

I think it will be 3-0 now to us.

I can't quite believe I'm about to do this but shouldn't your capital abbreviation be "ILWT" to be correct to the original intention of the quote.........

Pretty straight forward Home win. Lots of shock reactions from everyone.

Followed by business as usual next weekend, I'm afraid.

I dont see why he doesnt start Bent until half time at least. He hasn't had much playing time this season. Perhaps he might smack one in the net, you never know. He used to score on a regular basis and play for England. Might shake Agbonlahor up a bit as well.

I'd be happy with 4 points out of the next 2 games.

I noticed that Cleverly has started pointing, obviously learning from Westwood

(Old School Football Fan) ;-)
