I remember my dad buying a coat from Rackhams because Bruce wears it.
It caused a big row in the house so it must have cost a fortune and he had the official Villa tie to go with it!

The best picture I have ever seen of Andy Lochhead in action. Looks what he was... hard with a capital H

Benteke wouldn't have barged him off the ball... not a chance.

Thanks Doc!

A Winter coat or hat for any bloke out there ? Form an orderly queue here.

Geoff Vowden. Youngsters with feather haircuts. Chicos Boutique was almost next door to Johnny Dixons shop. The carpet shop was  just around a couple of corners Mr Lochhead ?

I loved the old club shop.

It is!

Thanks for this Doc - great memories of some great times and great players.

Still remember the excitement and anticipation whenever we got a free kick within 30yards of their goal and genuinely believed Bruce was gonna bury it every time!

Bruce went to the same Cambridge school as me(although a few years before me) and I wear his number 8 1971 home shirt to matches. :)

Remember going to the opening of a Texaco petrol station somewhere in Bham about this time which was being opened by Willie and Chico.

Also went to see Chico's shop but didn't go in.

My mom bought me a coat like Bruce's for sunday school which I hated. I looked like some posh hooray Henry which I definitely wasnt

Great days as a six year old when football, even in the third division, was exciting.
