Their defence look poor, a few more better balls and we can cause more problems. Our problem we still look dodgy at the back especially on Lowton's side....still don't rate him even the odd good cross he puts in.

When Townsend comes on we'll have big problems. I'm not too bothered about the rest of their subs.
The upper tiers of the North Stand should look out when he does his "cut inside and shoot into the stand" party trick.

Interesting game with two pretty poor teams trying to climb out of their respective slumps. Guzan has kept us in this but Benteke seems to have bought some belief to the team, just knowing he's there makes us stronger. We need to continue to out fight Spurs which shouldn't be too hard as they don't seem up for a fight and just get some decent service to Benteke. He's going to score today.

We definitely need a second. Benteke' best chance of getting it is probably in the next twenty as he must tire surely

Would like to think we've got an option to replace sanchez but not sure we do. He's been good in spells but will tire and has been diving in to a few challenges. We do still look like we've got a classic villa park mistake in us still . .

If so replace with bent not Gabby

Not for me. Bent's hold up play is awful and we'll end up camped in our own half which is a risk anyway. I expect Spurs to exert some pressure so we need to be a threat on the break. And I doubt zog will last the whole game

I've got a sick feeling in my stomach. I think it may be a backs to the wall job. Not sure I can take that

We could do with the crowd giving us a lift. It's gone very quiet

Zog been doing those runs where he switch with Weimann who goes to the box. Gabby never does that this season.
But covering that much ground must surely tire Zog...hope they put in Grealish when he does. Doubt it though.

SOTC  and I decided not to go. Last time I did that on the morning of a match was against Man City  last season.

Hope we get same result today as we did against them.
