Any team with N'Zogbia in is the wrong team selection. Hopefully he'll have his annual half decent game otherwise it's ten man Villa again.

He can't do any worse than Gabby has in the majority of games over the last 2 years.

Nonsense and you know it. You only need to read the Gabby thread to see how he's had his highs and lows in that time. N'Zogbia's greatest contribution in that time was being injured. At least then he wasn't a liability.

peaking to Sky Sports about his decision to drop Gabriel Agbonlahor: "It's hard for any player who isn't playing. Gaby's been great for me - and it's the first time I've left him out since I came here. Sometimes you can get a reaction for a player too. It's just a tactical thing which may work.
"Charlie [N'Zogbia] been unlucky to be left out lately. He has that creative spark, and I hope he can combine with Christian [Benteke] to get us something.

N'zogbia behind Benteke with cleverley and Weimann wide?

We can't drop too many players at once as we don't have much too bring in.

I would say, though, that even in spite of the general pattern (good Gabby, bad Gabby), he has been deteriorating to the point where, this season, he hardly looks like a footballer at all.

Some sloppy villa passing already

Sanchez needs to keep Soldado quiet. He's not made a good start

Some typical lowton defending against a winger there too!

I've probably said it before, but I hate the low camera angle at VP these days.  Looks very League 2.

True, but Nzogbia has never looked like one

I like Lowton going forward, but defensively, he's frankly terrifying.
