Why is it that people who put a negative spin on everything are 'being realistic' but anyone who thinks things aren't that bad is a happy clapper or something similar.

Aside from that is it really that realistic?  I'm pretty sure I've seen you (Goldie) predict relegation at least a few times in the last 3-4 years and yet we're still in the league so how is your opinion any more realistic than anyone else?  I'll admit I've been overly optimistic for the last couple of years and predicted lower mid-table finishes rather than relegation battles but in real terms that's just as accurate as you've managed.  This season I predicted 10-12 and I still think that's where we'll end up.

Most people thought we might get relegated in the last 4 years especially in 2012. I've never predicted we were dead certain to go down though.

Why you never post in the match threads? Do you even watch the games, you've stated in the season ticket thread you don't have one. Calling me out.....now I know why.

What have match threads got to do with anything?

So if I'm reading the stats correctly and to kind of put some positive spin on matters, we've never lost 5 on the bounce under Lambert.

Because it's easier to be more positive when you don't watch the full games week in week out.

I'm sure there are season ticket holders and regular away fans on here who try to keep things in perspective and discuss things without claiming everything's shit.

I don't post in the match threads because I am too busy booing the side relentlessly week in week out at the games.

My point was you said that people who don't have to sit through games tend to be more positive, which is not necessarily true.

I can not fault anyone if they booed us off at full time. Taking out a small mortgage to watch us play at QPR on a Monday night is one for the lunacy headquarters, fair play to all.

So....what are our league records for losing consecutive games and not scoring in games, we musn't be far off either. I certainly can't recall us losing more than 4 league games in a row in my time supporting us. This could easily get to 7-8 games looking at our next opponents.

Deary me.
