It occurred to me that it was 140 years ago this month that Mr Scattergood and co. stood under a gas lamp and discussed the formation of the greatest team the world has ever seen.

Happy 140th Aston Villa.

It's not a particularly relevant date anyway. 150th is worth celebrating, 140 is just a number with a 0 on the end of it.
