Everton away is a game I'd class in the same vein as the four that have gone before.

Another home defeat, another home game without scoring, another game without a shot on goal to speak of, god it is so depressing watching Villa under this clueless idiot of a manager. We have failed to score in four of the five home games and still he plays his negative style of football

Sorry but I thought in the circumstances we did well and an improvement on last year. Still missing the creativity in the middle but can't fault the boys for effort. Pluses were Benteke got half an hour, baker and senderos did well, Delph looked good in spells.

Footballs changed and not for the good. I'm afraid we just make up the numbers. Pretty shit I know but the way it is.

It was like watching the romance of the FA Cup, giant against minnow. Minnow puts up battling performance but succumbs in the end.

Heads held high at full time. Depressing.

3 straight defeats and no goals , virtually no shots on target. Anyone who thinks Everton away and spurs home are easy games are so wrong. I think we're looking at 2 more defeats and hoping Lambert gets the push then .

Everton were often superb last season. I think they're starting to warm up too. I'd fully expect them to dominate the game and for us to show all too little attacking intent. And we really should attack them because they've been poor defensively this season but I just don't see Lambert having the sense to identify that weakness and try to exploit it. We could have got at Arsenal if we'd wanted but didn't.

That Gabby hattrick against City feels a lifetime ago.

And the Darren Bent 1-0 3-4 seasons ago. We went for it that game too, it wasn't a backs to the wall job if I remember rightly.

We did ok for 75 mins. But we looked tired last 10 mins. Double sub seemed to kill our momentum. If Zog could provide an end product it may have been a different story. Played some nice stuff at times and Baker was good.

Great seeing Benteke back. Not so much city fans in the UT.

We did ok for 82 minutes then Delph gave Toure far too much room to pick his spot (where the hell Delph was going is anyone's guess) and Senderos did likewise with Arguero.  You can't give world class players that much space on the edge of the box.  But I guess they were knackered.

Our lack of creativity/adventure is a concern.  I am starting to think our assistant manager is one A. McLeish in a Roy Keane mask.  It may as well be.

QPR is a must win. Monday night game which isn't always good for us.
