Aston Villa v Man City Pre-Match Thread

I haven't been very impressed with Man City so far and think they look vulnerable still at the back. Still, if they turn up, it will be a very difficult game.

As someone else said further up the thread, of all the big money top six clubs, Man City are the ones who look unpredictable.

I think on their day, they're much better than the others, but they are way more prone to having "not their day" days than the rest.

This fixture last year was a typical example. The first half was genuinely one of the most one-sided games of football I've ever seen. I'd never have believed what happened in the second half would have done so if we'd played that fixture a hundred times.

I have always though that no matter how bad you're playing, when there is only one goal in it, you're still in with a chance.

Last year against Man City is one example, but perhaps the ebst was at Anfield under O'Neill in a mid-week game where we drew 2-2. Harewood came on and we changed the game after being utter tosh for the majority of it.

we should have won that game but Crouch got last minute equalizer for them I think.
