Just reading Vic Crown ' s notes  in a programme from 1974 when we played Middlesbrough. .In them he talks about a soccer writer who had theorised about having foreign born players in the football league.The writer thought it would be a great idea as long as only 2 players were allowed in any team. Vic goes on to say that villa and other clubs have given it some thought but nothing could be done about it until the FA gave the go ahead...how things have changed..!!! He thought that if things did change it would only be players from The E.E.C that would be allowed to play.

Also on the opposite page are the prices for Arsenal away in the cup...45p standing..!! Seats from 90p to £1.90..London prices obviously. .!
