Was it Sartre who said that everything in football is complicated by the presence of the other team? Whatever our plan may be, the fact is that Chelsea are better than us and will very likely frustrate our attempts to execute it.

I think it was Jimmy Hill.

Or Howard Wilkinson.

It was definitely Phil Neal.

No, Phil Neal said:

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

The other was Jimmy Hill.

Hell is being forever trapped in a room with Phil Neal. Even with two of you, the conversation would be one sided.

The one weakness I think Chavski have is Cahill & EBJT can struggle when players run at them. We need to get Gabby going at them, or get Grealish or even Zog doing it.

What does the 'EB' stand for in 'EBJT'? 'E-Bola'?

We're doing ok against a much better team. It's frustrating that a team in our division is so much stronger than us, but there you are.

When you rely on your full-backs for width its really handy if they can cross.

EDIT: Too slow.....

Villa's play is pumped forwards and defended backwards.
