Ive never seen so many grown men wearing LFC replica gear with a number and a players name on the back, the train was full of them going back to the midlands all trying to outdo each other with how pissed of they were at losing to little old Villa and what such loyal fans they were in continuing to watch them on the telly next week after the hardship of only finishing second and spending a hundred million quid in the summer, cameras round their necks, their only connection to Liverpool laughing at shite John Bishop scetches to try and fit in.

I dont know what ached more, my feet from standing or my face from sneering at them,

Excellent. I had three of them in front of me in the pub. About as scouse as my cat. Don't forget the half and half scarves, several of which I observed in the crowd. They really are as patronising as they come. As I posted previously, there was a lovely moment in the pub where the Sky commentator said, after the game 'a staggering win for Villa' and a Villa fan shouted out 'fuck off, it's only Liverpool' in a very loud brummie voice. The three twats in front of me didn't like it all, especially as we all cheered

Brummie Reds, whether they support United or Liverpool really annoy me. I think the worst part of it is that I actually start respecting bluenoses a lot more once I spend time in glory hunter company.

Interesting that the received wisdom is that the team with possession "lets the ball do the work", whereas the team conceding possession has to chase to close down, leading to fatigue in the latter part of the game...yet Liverpool had to cover a greater distance than villa as a team.

Oh, and a marathon is 26 miles (or so), Ash did 7.6, so not quite a half marathon...but he still put in a shift.

The reincarnation of Hutton has been the biggest miracle of all though,

I never felt that, to be honest.  I thought he had a few bad games and certainly some rash tackles, however overall I think his crapness was overplayed on this site.

Another thing, that shot from Coutinho that hit the post was actually deflected off Senderos's head. More good defending but no-one picked it up but focussed on the shot itself.

Looking forward to the office in Central London tomorrow where we have 5 or 6 plastic scouse reds. 3 Asian and 3 from Surrey / Kent / Berkshire.
Massive wind up time.

I work in Warwick. Half a dozen of them here from:

Hereford.
Grimsby. To be fair Liverpool are his 'big' team as still watches the Mariners a few times a season.
Sheldon. Yes near B'ham airport
Rugby - he is working from home mysteriously today.
Cambridge
and one of them is actually from Liverpool.

There is also a new scouse bloke but not sure if he is a Red or Blue. Will find out today.

I have been in work for an hour and nobody has spoken to me about football yet.

If I crane my neck I can see 8 Liverpool fans. Its as silent as the Kop.

The work football group has a bout 20 Dippers in it. I intend to send an e-mail to them all with a picture.

Would any of you witty folk care to assist in finding a picture, which sums up the "hahahahaha fuck off you gobby Scouse twats!" that I am aiming for without actually saying that?
