Another clean sheet. Amazing. People need to shut the fuck up about Baker now. He's made mistakes and is learning the game but he's shown he can defend really well. Immense concentration from him and Phil today.

Great win and a really hard working performance.  I've been a critic of Nathan Baker, but will happily admit that he did very well today.

Should we start saving up for Champions League tickets and away trips next season?

Excellent performance. Backs to the wall in the second half but we coped well, and they didn't really create that much in the end. A bit of luck with Coutinho hitting the post, but I thought we did a good job on them too.

Baker was man of the match for me. Never thought I'd be saying that!

10 points in our first 4 games puts us on a nice run given we've still got 4 very tough games. But I'd expect us to pick up more results in 1-2 of those games and stay in a nice position.

For me given we're playing a side who scored over 100 goals last season, even despite the injury to Sturridge, we've done exceptionally well today. We kept Balotteli quiet and frustrated.

Last season we would have definitely let that slip, things are on the up :-*
