Karim, Bennett, tonev, bowery, luna, helenius, sylla all Lambert buys no longer there. People blame Lerner when he wasted so much money. And yet Lerner gives him more!!

When you are bringing in so many players with relatively (for the number of players) little money to do it, you are going to get more failures than successes.  I think where it all went wrong was not being able to sell Bent, Ireland, Hutton, Given and N'Zogbia when Lambert first arrived.  If he had, more money per player would possibly have been spent with the probability of getting higher calibre players.

Sorry, Lerner didn't select any of those players, Lambert did. I agree that Lerner changed the wage structure, we believe, but those players are crap, their coaching has been crap and we have constantly been embarrassed as a club under Lambert's tenure as Manager. Why not spend a few quid on one player instead of very little on several?  Yes the salary may not be brilliant for said players but it works both ways. We go round in circles and I appreciate that my view may differ from yours. Both Lerner and Lambert are useless clowns.

I do not mind people quoting my posts and commenting on them but there is only one (possibly two) point in your reply that relates to what I said and that is your comment about buying one rather than many.  The rest and most of your reply is another rant about how poor the manager and the owner are.

Regarding how many we had to sign, we had a squad that was very low on numbers (other than kids) that had to be bolstered, once the players were identified that needed moving on.

Solid squad player but not much else for me.  With some of the signings, plus Delph's recent form you could see him slipping down the pecking order.  Good luck to him for the future.

Looked a decent player at Feyenoord but not good enough for the pace / strength of the Premeirship. My lasting memory of him will be a comment on here describing him as being 'like the arse-end of a pantomime horse', which I think pretty much sums up what he offered to the team.

Anyway best of luck.

Never really got to grips with the physicality of English football did he, a nothing player, he didnt do anything particularly well and disappeared in games.

Hope it turns out better for him back in Holland.

Looked like a good buy in the early days, especially when he scored from long range in his first home game against Everton, but it didn't work out for him.  Best of luck going forward, would be nice to bump into him in European competition.

A fair comment but to give balance Lambert has also signed Benteke and Vlaar. Two players if sold now would in my opinion bring in quadruple what they were signed for.

I actually quite liked El Ahmadi, and think for what we paid for him we probably got value for money. He was a better player without the ball than he was with it, but still made some not-to-be-discounted contributions, like the first away at Sandwell last season, and batling performances tohelp gain 4 points at the Emirates and Anfield.

I wish him well.
