How to score points in Guess The Crowd:

Current rules state

10 for a correct guess posted more than 7 days before KIck Off time.
7   For a correct guess posted at a time equal to or after 7 days before KIck Off time.
6.  Within 10
5.  Within 50
4   Within 100
3   Within 500
2   Within 1000
1   For entering and above 1000 out

First guess only counts.

Editing posts - will result in that guess being null and void, with just the 1 point awarded for entering, that week. 

No guesses after Kick Off.

Just a note for those new to this - the editing of posts is something that commonly happens when people want to comment a few days afterwards, but it can suggest that you have changed your guess in the light of ooh, new information, events, etc.  it's very easy to forget this rule, as I know!

Edits for whatever reason after today will have the effect described in the rules above but this time around the rules had not been posted before guessing, so it seems fair to give everybody the heads up on this for the threads to follow!
