No. It should be a level playing field, starting with the Hull game.

The 'I am really missing GTC ' thread ends with posts 22 and 23, stating the intention of:

Continuing the GTC from then on, the Newcastle game weekend, scores to be worked out for the players who guessed.

And

Inviting more people to join in for Hull by opening a new thread for flagging up the relaunch. 

And

Cutting off the membership at that point to allow definite lists/ divisions to be published.

At that point, I had no idea whether it was going to continue as a relatively small new group in a new list, or get anywhere near the 3 divisions that ended last season. 

Looking back at previous competitions  people could still join up to 3 weeks/ games into the season.  The divisions were set from the previous season, though, automatically.  The competition started with the first game but was trailed early in August to check who wanted to join or was still in.  Last year, it began with Four divisions! 

If this is a real issue for other players as well, please let me know, but the thoughts, actions and intentions re  'reviving' GTC this season are all in the 2 threads concerned.  Gradual, staggered beginnings are usual.  The only differences this time are that we have all begun  the process later and with no idea about what the interest might be in continuing under new management, as it were.  It's looking like 3 divisions, at the moment, which is great news.

Bit of housekeeping...

As this is the collecting interest stage a couple of people have indicated interest but might have forgotten that they haven't actually guessed yet.  I haven't seen them, anyway, and believe me, I have trawled! Don't want to miss anybody out who wants to be in, so ahem Goldie.7 and *cough* Andy_Lochhead_In_The_Air please check! My apologies if you were just biding your time or had changed your mind.

I won't be able to remind people after this afternoon as the thing will be off and running. We have 59 teams so far! Room for more. Guesses up to kick off, 1.30pm as timed on here.
