N'Zogbia's still rubbish then.

At least there's a spark of something here with Charlie. That's more than can be said for Weimann or Gabby.

I reckon Grealish in the second half will provide the key to open things up

Come on guys, it's the first game of the season. Granted we look a bit soft in attack at the moment but we look better than last season already. Plus we have some key players to come in still.

I just don't know what Villa are any more. No one can say we're a good counter attacking outfit anymore, we haven't been for years.

There isn't an identity, a style...an idea!!

Seems ridiculous that Lambert is still manager after last season but there he is.

I know it's the first game of the season, so allowances have to be made, but it's been low quality from both sides.  Plenty of huff and puff but precious little skill or flair.

You make it sound like there is a torrent of abuse or criticism being applied here.

Cissokho looking good. Maybe he just adjusted badly last season, and has acclimatised now.

Not sure Andi was offside there. Better move from us.

Defence is looking ok. Hutton and Sissokho doing well I think.
