100m mens heats on BBC2 currently Dwain Chea-oops sorry Chambers just won his heat.

The future of British sprinting in next heat....ain't got a clue how to spell his name.

British sprinting is look pretty promising to be honest. We've got a young lad in the 400 metres who looks great.

Jo Pavey just won the 10,000 metres at 40 years old, brilliant effort. Well done.

I'm pretty sure that Rory McIlroy will win Sports Personality of the Year, but my vote will go to Jo Pavey.

Martyn Rooney is through to the 400m final. Will he choke as per?

In actual fact in all three semis three British winners, that Matthew Hudson Smith's running style reminds me of Michael Johnson.

As a slight aside, my lad told me last night that one of his 17-year-old students is running the 100 metres in 10.8 seconds.  That's some going for a 17-year-old kid.

Hudson-Smith is a massive prospect, because he's a speed 400 metre runner rather than endurance. There's so much potential in him as he continues to learn the event.

A local lad who is another product of the Birchfield Harriers Academy. Was a 200m runner but has been encouraged to do the longer distance. Has been with the club for many years since a young lad.

I was lucky to be in Glasgow and able to get a seat very close to the finish line to watch him take the Gold away from the Bahamas. Hopefully he'll beat Rooney tomorrow! If he does that he should get another medal for his collection.

I see the bellend who took his shirt off with about 100 metres left of his race has had his gold medal taken off him.

Good, I reckon. Reading his Wikipedia page, he sounds like a less-likeable version of Luis Suarez.
