I've watched quite a bit of the spli..women's world cup, and keepers aside the quality is very good.

But whilst I've enjoyed the determination of the England team, they've looked technically inferior to every opponent they've faced.

Could have written the exact same thing about the men's team at any point in the last 40 years

However the sheer passion, enthusiasm and will to succeed  has not been there in the men's team over the last few tournaments. Leaving technical deficiencies aside the ladies  showed how much it mattered to them and how grateful they were for being there whereas men just use it as another notch to secure more sponsorship deals and can't wait to get back to Puerto Banus!

I forgot it was on, not worth turning off Time Tunnel to watch it now. Which obviously means it will be 6-6 at HT.

Japan score early in second half, and then promptly do some abysmal defending at a corner for 5-2.
