Carlos was fantastic last night, shut down Neymar. Don't forget he did the same to Messi too when the played Argentina last..so clearly he is a quality player.

If he can adjust to the quicker pace over here, and improve his fitness to last a full 90 minutes at the pace we play,  i think he could be the best in his position in the league personally.

England under 21 v Portugal under 21 bt sport 745pm . also on uefa website. I think Ricardo up front , midfielder Carvahlo and tricky Silva who will stand out especially playmaker Silva. All England have is Harry Kane and I think Portugal and Bernando Silva boss the match 8/1 Portugal to win both to score . or just straight up 2/1 win. 5 internationals  and unbeaten in qualifying .

I quite like the look of England so far. Carroll has played some lovely passes and I'd have loved Redmond at villa

Womens Wc , wow Germany have taken their game up a level vs Sweden. This should be at least 4-0, Sweden have been lucky.

My goodness English football is so dire to watch in tournaments. The U21's are marginally more exciting than the first XI.

It'd be nice to say the future looks bright, but it doesn't, it looks more than a little bit like the present.
