We should buy some of these Slovenian wide men to put in crosses for Benteke

In fairness, we did have Jordan Henderson at right back.

Given that sort of opposition, I'd expect even players of even less quality than N'Zogbia to get a decent supply in.

I'm struggling to think who they might be.

Like I said earlier, Micah Richards must be licking his lips if he gets to show any kind of form and consistency. There's nothing back there that should be overly concerning if he really wants to get back into the England squad.

Come the actual Euro 2016, this England team will really struggle

Got the win and it wasn't too bad a game to watch, especially second half. I still wouldn't fancy us against a decent side though.

For once I actually found watching that England game quite entertaining. Better than the normal dross that's served up.

No they will win it. Just need to add a proper defence, a decent midfield and some world class forwards and Germans would be shaking in their boots!

Lallana made the difference, he did the job sterling and Townsend should have been doing and got in and around the box and kept the ball moving.  That front 3 doesn't work because they all want to do it on their own, Townsend shouldn't be anywhere near the team and Sterling needs to grow up.

I imagine he'll be happy enough just to actually get to play league games consistently before even thinking about the national side.

And a reliable keeper. Then there will be no stopping us.

I've applied for tickets for the QF, SF and F , slim chance but probably have a better personal chance than England of being there .

I know we won but I've never been a big fan of Roy as national coach. Surely that's not the best XI England can offer? If it is I'm a 3ft 4inch Egyptian rug salesman. I know we haven't exactly got talent coming out of our ears but Phil Jones at RB, then Henderson, over Clyne? Townsend over Walcott? Ay? This team will get torn a new arsehole when it comes across a decent team in a tournament at this rate. I know that's nothing new but I mean truly embarrassed, the defence is so poor it's unreal.

The second half was great to watch, was like a premier league game , full of over hyped players and basic errors , with the one shining light in the northern hemisphere Jack Wilshere doing what he does best .

The little prick :-). It was an entertaining 2nd half, I give Roy that.

Venezuela beat Colombia 1-0 in the Copa America. Carlos Sanchez played the first hour.
