Went the to the Fifa Under 20's yesterday to see the Germans beat Honduras 5-1 and Brazil beat North Korea 3-0. I wasn't overly impressed by Brazil in the first half, but they improved in the second half.
Now the knock out games start - Last 16 starts on Wednesday. Unfortunately I'm out of town on Thursday so will miss Germany v Nigeria, but I'm back for the quarter final on Sunday.

I've been very impressed with the tournament so far and there have been some great games.

I've been to the 5 games we've had so far in New Plymouth. Brazil beat Nigeria 4-2 in the first one and it was a belter of a game. The last one we've got here is tomorrow night - Brazil v Uruguay. Looking forward to it.

It's on Sky Sports 5, I think.

Wales beating Belgium...
I am listening to it on the wireless.

It makes no difference how hard I try to think otherwise, Savage can't help coming across as a complete twunt.

Why would you try to think otherwise?

Quite. I couldn't even contemplate listening to him after Wales have scored. With a bit of luck he might get a bit too excited and spontaneously combust.

Benteke hasn't been in it which I think is good news. Good game though and even better when the player with the twattish hair brings the wrong sort of attention on himself with an horrendous error.

It's in my character to give everyone a second chance once I've slapped my first impression on them. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't with all things Villa!

With Savage I always think "He can't be that bad ALL OF THE TIME can he?"

Yes he can.
And our TV licence fee is paying for him to be it, ffs!!!
