Couldn't have put it better myself. The players aren't interested in these end of season friendlies as much as anyone else even if there is a Euro qualifier coming up. The whole concept of international friendlies needs to be looked at.

the US and Holland put on a good one the other day. Maybe the truth is both teams are utterly boring, devoid of real ideas and in the most part gash.

They're not...looks like the local residents are well and truly dug in seeing as it opened 5 years ago.

Just checked and ITV have an hour long highlights show covering this match tonight...they are going to struggle to fill an hour at this rate. Why do ITV feel the need to do highlights shows of meaningless games, and even worse when they have highlights shows of games half an hour after they finished showing the live game.
