Interesting to think that the two players to leave the PL in the past two seasons; Bale then Suarez could win back to back in the Champions League

If they can get to halftime only 0-1, I fancy Juve to do a classical Italian "do just enough" in the second half.

I hope Vidal gets a red this half so as I can my "Vidal, so soon?" joke just for Aftab because he loves my jokes.
It's needs to be much more contrived than this to be one of your specials!

Pogba looks like the next Zaha .
If you mean overrated, I've nev seen Zaha try to keep the entire Barcelona midfielder at bay pretty much single handed.

By that token, on tonight's showing, Pirlo is a poor man's Westward.

You do realize this is the Barcelona midfield he's up against.

He's no Darren Backford, that's for sure.

Do you think we can blag enough people into believing that Pirlo is just a poor man's Westwood, and then craftily sign him on a free?

Vidal and Pogba got to tread carefully like Cleverley and Delph last week.
=effectiveness nullified.

Bloody autocorrect.
Apparently the personal dictionary was also missing from the transfer settings. (see things that make you smile thread)
Anyway, the point still stands. Juve have got three or four players that might get into their squad.
Pogba almost single handed broke up Madrid's midfield in the second leg. That he's struggling to do the same again tonight is more a reflection on this Barcelona team than Paul Pogba.

What do you think of Pirlo's performance so far?
