I thought the Newcastle owner actually came over quite well in his rare interview. I'm not expecting him to do a tour of fans Q&A forums though.
I'd never heard him speak so the cockney accent was a shock . I always thought he was a Geordie .

Despite the fact they've sung  "You fat cockney bastard, get out of our club" for however many years at every game and the talk of a supposed cockney mafia and common knowledge he's a Spurs fan?
Ha true. Well I kind of knew but it was still a bit odd to hear the cockney accent out of what effectively looks like a full on Geordie .

I knew he was a cockney but he somehow manages to look like both a cockney and a geordie. And compliments don't come much higher than that. ;)

Must admit I was amazed to see him being interviewed, first time I've heard him speak. Does anybody know whether Randy Lerner really is American?

Mr amfy got talking to a Wembley litter picker yesterday at the play off final about what a tough job it was.

The litter picker said - 'it'll be tougher tomorrow for The Championship play off, but the worst was that Villa lot the other week! They just can't seem to drink enough! I've never seen anything like it!'

Mike said he looked as if he was still traumatised!

Hope Mr amfy and his Preston mates also gave the litter-picker lots to do.
That's a very impressive performance and I'm sure Mr amfy is rather chuffed!

Hope he brings a bit of the same magic with him next Saturday!
UTV!

It took Drogba over two minutes to leave the pitch.

The ref didn't seem to mind, he was applauding him off.

Liverpool must be gutted that Drogba upstaged Gerrard in best/worst final game clusterfuck.
Lampard actually seems quite classy by comparison.

Lampard is annoyingly likeable

He deserved to have far more fuss made about his last game than Slippy did

When he scored his two goals against us that broke the record,  we all applauded.

I don't remember it being commented on at the time about that, either. Whereas if all of Anfield had applauded...

Pearce did commentate on a Liverpool game on MOTD a few weeks back and when Gerrard scored, i thought he was going to explode. It was as if he just brought world peace.

I noticed when Lampard was walking along the touchline as the teams came out this season he got a good reception from those in the Trinity Road before kick off and after half time.

Paul Lambert's ex Norwich  for me in the play offs . They have the players of prem quality/experience and far better to watch for goal scoring be more deserving than boro.

Think cuellar is injured as ever ! But good luck to canaries they are a very decent outfit as is carrow road to visit

Tough one to call. I have had 3-2 Norwich and 3-2 Boro for a bit of extra interest. 28/1.

Boro because it is a bit new and for the way Norwich acted during the Hoolahan saga.

Mind you, we did do quite well against them...

Boro because I quite like Aitor Karanka and the football they play.
