Some stuff doing the rounds on twitter about Everton fans involved in some horrible stuff at Kings Cross today - attacking Newcastle and Hull fans, people getting glassed.
Wankers to a man if true.

Justice for Stevie I say.

are the PL going to have this game played again? In fact played until "he" wins?

Can't see him in the MLS somehow
Expect a 'Stevie in 'pool exit turnaround ' headline very, very soon.

Jesus, this must be some sick parody:

""Steven has basically been the fan on the pitch. Every kid who grows up wants to be Steven Gerrard.""

"A hush falls over Anfield as Steven Gerrard's Liverpool team-mates wait on the pitch for their captain to re-emerge with his family."

"We didn't do Steven justice today,"

Elton John must be penning another rewrite of Candle in the Wind as we speak.

It really is set up now for a memorable final day. Hull to beat Man U, Big Sam to go to Newcastle with West Ham, where he was chased out after only a few months, and beat them sending them to the Championship. What a fabulous day that will be.

We ended up in a pub with Sky in time to see his speech. It's not so much the man himself, it's the coverage and sycophantic reporting that's got to me. I'd rather watch a royal wedding,.

OMFG. Just reading the BBC page. He'd come back in an emergency. Here's another little gem.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew: "You have to admire the stadium as the emotion of the occasion wasn't going to stop them from celebrating Stevie. That was a really nice moment and an honour to be here. Words don't really conduct the feeling for Stevie across the country. Today we respect what he's done for both Liverpool and England and I'm sure he'll go on to better things in the USA and in coaching."

Steviee should be awarded an honorary Premier League winners medal. Until that is done there will be no justice for His Highness the Prince of Toxteth.
