Funny. Spurs now helping out three times in keeping us up. Fired Sherwood, lost to us at WHL, beat Hull. What accomodating wankers they are.

It's World Whisky Day, I'm not going to be in a hurry to get home for MOTD and we're safe.

This isn't going to end well.

I might listen to a bit of Chaz & Dave when Match of the Day is on !!

Don't forget them relegating Small Heath for us as well.

On the train listening to the radio. Did I miss Steven Gerrard curing a leper with his healing touch or something?

A good player no doubt but I can't remember anything like this coverage before.

I hope he injures himself getting sent off whilst scoring an own goal.

I'm completely not going to watch Match of the Day. In fact, were it not for the fact I have a ticket, I probably wouldn't pay much attention to next Sunday. In my mind, I have a fortnight off before I have to care again.

To be fair, I don't know how he can play a game after that.

Phew...

funny though that in every one of these relegation threatened seasons we haven't once been involved in the last day drama.

Actually, technically, mathematically we have.

Mcleish season? Wasn't it a 12 goal swing or something?

I don't mind the Stevie G love in. After all we'll be doing the same in 15 years time, recognising Jack as one of the best players in a generation.

Wasn't there a last day drama in the 90s?

I don't get all the vitriol over Gerrard. He was a genuine world class player and a one club man who has played in a period when Liverpool have been left behind by Man Utd and the money of Chelsea and Man City. He could have gone anywhere and got as many pots as he'd wanted.

He has also borne the pain of Hillsborough personally and with quiet dignity - the youngest victim being his cousin who was only 12 months older than him at the time.

Good luck to him.

He could have gone anywhere, if he'd been allowed to by certain people. Allegedly.
