I noticed the final score in that match whilst playing around with a football app in my phone, and assumed it must have been some sort of penalties score or something.

Does anyone know why the season is finishing so late this year?

It was strange that the football league was finished with 3 games left to play in the Premier League.

Also the Champions League final is on June 6th this year, I've never known it to be so late.

The season always starts later after a major international tournament, which, in turn, means it finishes later. Admittedly this is the latest ever I think.

I couldn't believe it when I booked to come home, I thought here I go again, home when I can't get to the Villa.  Then I checked the fixtures; just for buggery and, lo and behold I'm going to be there for the Burnley game.  Tickets sorted, can't wait.

Me too but have a feeling it will turn out to be a bit boring. It will be pretty difficult to match the last game for entertainment.
