And where will mid table West Ham, quite possibly nothing to play for Southampton, and relegated Burnley be? I'll take our position and run in every day of the week.

I reckon Burnley won't even bother turning up, they'll think it's that pointless.

I was referring more to possible Newcastle problem, albeit I think WBA will make it comfortable for them next week.

No there is no rhyme or reason why that should happen and just self gratification to think that way.

Some of us are becoming as obsessed with the Bitters as they are with us. Sort it out lads.

Agreed. To think their players, professional footballers with win/goal/clean sheet bonuses written into their contracts, most of whom have little or no local affiliation will suddenly forgo thousands of £ to screw us is preposterous. Like Insaid yesterday if it was a fans game they'd very gladly roll over and play dead, but it simply doesn't work that way. Newcastle despite their problems will need to change their fortunes for their own reasons but it won't because Albion "let them".

That's because they are shit and lose a lot regardless of how it could affect us.

I'm not saying Albion won't lose but to think it is because a squad of players, manager and coaching staff will have collectively conspired against their local rival is nuts. Sorry I don't buy it at all.

There is such a thin line between been at the top of your game or seemingly coasting though.  Players do not need the win bonuses from every game with the money they earn these days.  This is why as Dave said, it happens every season.
