Then again I always think the same thing when I see LVG.   I must have a hair thing.

He says 'gelieve mijn haar knippen, de heer kapper' or words to that effect.

I suspect LVG might say something more along the lines "pleesh mak meen haarshteel zu lookie liken shomebody wishout cazie falsh teesh und ein shtupid faysh liken shtartled shtoat".

Pearson is a twat of the highest order but after pat Murphy gets his point across very well I thought he started to cross into the territory of trying to goad Pearson to get a reaction. After the apology it was clear Pearson was going to be on his best behaviour.  Murphy got his point over though and brought it back together towards the end but ultimately it'll be pointless because Pearson is just another miserable moment away from blowing up again.

I only did the first two years of the Dutch night school course at the Brasshouse so I think that vocab is a bit more advanced than I got to!

Some of these are quite funny, Pearson at it again in the last one.

I suspect he's as thick as pig shit and worried about proving it in public, hence the swings between passive aggressive defense as with Murphy or the naked aggression of last night.
He's incapable of an articulate response to a reasonable question or an alternative point of view. He just sits there nodding and murmuring "yes, ok" or "did I?" trying desperately not to say anything that would reveal himself as the brainless dick stain he occasionally shows himself to be. And then when he finally goes off on one you get the frankly bizarre crap he came out with last night.

A half decent psychologist could have a living for life there.

Everybody is talking about Pearson, nobody is talking about his players. Mourinho talks disingenuous bollocks every week after a game and has the media cooing over him, and never talking about his players.

Job jobbed as far as Pearson is concerned.

Nigel Pearson is funnier than those two have ever been or ever will be.

I wish that Fry & Laurie had never decided to get their place decorated.

I think that's bang on. Somebody on twitter (I think) described a moment in the original rant along the lines of "pauses, tries to think of a clever word to use, fails, uses a rubbish one instead." Increasingly projecting the air of someone who the next time you see him in the news will be in a report that concludes with the words "... before turning the gun on himself."

I think Pearson's a decent manager in fairness. The stripeyfilth were a tad bit hasty getting rid of him when he was there. He made way for Tony Mowbray if memory serves me right and what a fine idea that was.
