I'm in Montreal at the Big O watching Montreal Impact vs Club America in the Champions League Final second leg. Winner heads to Japan to the FIFA Club World Cup. 1-1 from the first leg in Mexico, Montreal have just a taken the lead. 61,000 in attendance. Great atmosphere.

Ah well, ended 4-2 to Club America

Is the roof at the Big O currently stuck on or stuck off ?

Its up on the main BBC football section now. Very funny. That guy is nuts.

Scarily so. There's been managers such as Ollie who were nuts in a quirky way but Pearson doesn't come across like that.

Somebody said you just know he's the sort who will phone a call centre and his opening words will be "put your manager on please love".

Pearson is a massive wanker, he deserves to go down. The way he says "I can - you can't" just shows him as an egotistical prick.

If he can put his head in the stand he can also give himself oral relief.

It would be a pretty rude way to behave, wouldn't it?

Baseball managers have the best rants. Bryan Price of the Reds did one against the media the other week that included 77 expletives

I have no idea from what is essentially quite a sedate game how the managers get so mentally fired up. That one is a beauty, but there are so many others across history that are just as good.

It's all very temporary and quite the mess. I didn't really pay attention fearing something might drop on my head as has happened over the years as the stadium deteriorated. I know they have planning permission to get a new one but given how seldom it is used now it's hard to believe the funding will ever get passed. Heard it was something like $300m. Still great atmosphere there last night right up until Club America scored their second.

Absolutely. Whenever we have somebody do that at our work place it almost certainly guarantees they are not going to get whatever it is they are demanding, it's usually a refund (because the comedian wasn't funny / play was boring / there was swearing in the performance) or free tickets to make up for their 'disgust and disappointment'. They are always without exception bullies and incredibly rude.
