At least we are playing well. Newcastle and Sunderland must be bricking it. If Leicester stay up they will probably have to get results against Newcastle and QPR to do it.

Chelsea will get a point at minimum tonight. They'll get a bollocking and get back into it in the second half.

As I was saying...

Leicester deserve to stay up.  We quite frankly deserve to be relegated.  Yes we have improved under Sherwood, but we've been abysmal all season.

Both us and Leicester have been abysmal all season but have improved recently. Yet we deserve to be relegated, but Leicester don't. Why?

If I was a Newcastle fan on the back of 7 straight losses I'd be shitting myself.

I do wonder why Albrighton has struggled to hold down a place. He's one of their better players easily. He had a great game against us. I saw the odd highlight of him here and there and he normally stood out for them. He's now in the side and in some form. He's a good crosser of the ball and they have aeriel threats in the box. You'd think he'd have played 30 games by now. Particularly given that Leicester apparently gave him a very good contract.
They didn't particularly have players in his position absolutely tearing it up either.

The difference is they've won four matches in a row, so are on a run of form at just the right time.

We are playing miles better than we were before, but we're not really getting as many league points as we should be doing.

I'm not going to get into the "they deserve it, we don't" thing, because it's nonsense, really, but if a team manages to put together a highly impressive run of results and end up clawing themselves out of the trouble, having looked dead for most of the season, you have to have some admiration for it.

Unoriginal response alert. Are you any good at predicting lottery numbers?

I said on one of the other threads a while back, that Albrighton was spotted on a train on the way back from Wembley supporting the Villa

Utterly useless Lizz. If I was I'd be minted and would have bought this place out and turned it into a parking garage. Would have saved me loads of time and alleviated a lot of misery over the last few years :)

I don't disagree with any of that.

I was disagreeing with the 'they deserve to stay up, we don't' rubbish. Whoever is in the relegation places at the end of the season deserve to go down.

Totally agree. The teams that finish in the bottom three will deserve to go down, they always do.
