Last three games - beat Spurs away, beat Liverpool and an unlucky defeat at Man City. Consecutive good performances against top 6 sides surely suggests a "form side".

Hopefully a Chelsea win tonight will settle a few nerves particularly with the remaining fixtures for Sunderland having to play Southampton, Everton, Leicester, Arsenal and Chelsea...they may pick up an unwanted win in one of those games but as long as we get a couple of wins ourselves then we take care of our own destiny.

Up against most teams around us we are - 14th may not be dream form, but it's all we need for our purposes right now. The stats show it, even after Hull's win, & not even counting our semi final win, the current form at the bottom of the table has us staying up. Of course things can change, but in any direction, not just against us - and the trend for us is good.
