"Is this a lie-berry, is this a lie-berry" as my learned colleague sang into my left ear for around 70 mins on Saturday"

Little clubs say how loud their support is. Big clubs win trophies.

1,000,000% better than orchestrated silence .

110% has more resonance.
Nah, that's not a high enough random number. A hundred and ten percent? A million percent? Only a billion percent can really show just how much he means what he says.

It's no wonder I'm only able to put a maximum 47% effort into most things I do when people are putting such a ridiculous amount of % into things, they've created a % shortage. I blame the likes of Louis Walsh and pretty much everybody involved in football.

You have friends who want us relegated so i'll take that with a pinch of salt.

Look at it objectively. Which grounds do you consider noisy? Which ones are quiet?

I barely get into double figures most of the time so I'm creating a lot of that extra that is going around.

Noisy, we are up there, particularly night games (roll on tomorrow)
Palace is superb, either the tv mic's are positioned to remarkably volley their "ultras" onto the tapes or its real
Hull home crowd was good for singing again
Leicester not too bad
Chelsea at least sing in unison occasionally
Liverpool I'd love to slate them but they sing, as do Newcastle and Sunderland
Spurs can be noisy we will see Saturday

Palace are still at the stage where every Premier League game is an adventure. I remember when everyone used to bang on about how loud Stoke were but now the novelty of the biggest bestest mostest hypedest league in the World has worn off you could've heard a pin drop when we beat them this year.

Give it five years and everyone will have forgotten about Palace's trainee accountant "Ultras" and be busy saying how intimidating The Valley/Ashton Gate/Brammall Lane or wherever is the home to a newly-promoted top flight club is.

It wasn't long ago the bestest and loudest fans around were Albion. And then it was Stoke. Now it's Palace. It's always the little clubs wanking themselves off with excitement at being in the top flight. They either soon get bored of it or relegated.

So that's one "occasionally" who ever win anything, one who consider themselves the Beatles of football supporters then a bunch of smalltown boys and deludeds.

I don't remember anyone ever saying Albion were the loudest. Mind you, I don't understand the accent so they might have said it.

There is always a special atmosphere at Villa Park during night games but I really don't think we're particularly noisy.

You get the occasional games like the two against the Bitters but we are not loud. Maybe it's the acoustics of the ground. I've been in the Holte and you can't hear the North Stand and vice versa. It might appear to be loud where you are in the ground but collectively we fall short.
