I think Juve will have Monaco on toast. They're tougher than Arsenal at resisting counter-attacks, and they have a knack of getting results when they need them.

PSG v Barca
Athletico v Real
Porto v Bayern
Juve v Monaco

Barca, Real, Bayern and Monaco in the last four I reckon. Three of whom most people would have predicted from the start.

The first two are great ties. The other two should be pretty easy for Bayern and Juve

Best league in the ....

....world. Agreed.

And the market agrees with both of us, as evidenced by the TV deals.

You can fool some people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all of the... Oh yes you can actually

They're not being fooled. It's the league most people choose to watch.

Which makes One Direction the best band in the world.

They'm bloody everywhere, the Chinese!

Although in Ireland I ate in a Chinese restaurant owned, run and staffed entirely by the Irish. It was also as good a Chinese meal as I have ever eaten.

Did you have the Spring O'Nion Pancakes?

I agree that the first two are great ties and could go either way. I think Bayern are the safest bet to go through but I think Monaco will do Juventus.

I've often wondered whether the Premier League being the most-watched and lucrative league in the world has anything to do with English being the most widely-spoken language.

If speaking English is a pre-requisite, how come lots of people in the Black Country watch the Premier League?

And in absolute terms makes the Funk Brothers the best band ever, which I wouldn't argue with.

The Dingles play some good stuff up front. It's not a bad game so far but it needs a goal.

Jackett has been a good appointment. I must admit he didn't do anything at Watford, Swansea or Millwall to particularly impress me.
