Always nice to see Middlesbrough beating at Ipswich at home.

I know what you did there

Yes, it's great.

Man City though eh? What a bunch of fucking wankers.

Frightening to think that was 35 years ago, standing at the Clock End as all those false rumours kept being spread around the crowd, before it really did become reality!

Man City, how poor was that. No fight, ponderous, lacklustre. Bunch of mercenary tossers.

I know they've bought the league a couple of times but does anyone else think they have never quite consistently hit the spot and, for all the money they have, and have spent, their team isn't actually as great as you might expect? They have found it extremely hard to buy themselves up to the next level.

Seems to me Toure has been pretty rubbish since that birthday card business. They need to get rid of him and the manager.

Ramsey has conceded relegation by saying those dreaded words "until it's mathematically impossible to survive we keep going".

I do feel for him. Another good man sent to the footballing gallows by clueless owners!

A clueless former manager, more like. Spent a fortune on has-beens, flounced off the day after the transfer window closed so as to give his successor hardly any chance.

The hardest thing for multi millionaire footballers is to 'go again' they did it last year and a bit of hunger dies, they start looking around for other options

This for me is Fergies greatest achievement how he got his teams up year after year with the same hunger to go and win is shear genius, and that's coming from someone who can't stand the bloke

They have certainly under achieved in Europe. As someone who bets on football I never trust them with my money like I have in the past with Manchester United and Chelsea. For a top team they can be a bit 'flaky'.

I think the untimely death of his younger brother is more likely to have an impact on his form than anything to do with birthdays.

I reckon we might see him at Villa Park next season.

Burnley would be top.

You're looking at the wrong colour of Manchester for the team that'd be bottom of that table.
