I wonder how much of Lampards wages City are paying. With multiple club ownership you could see how the system might be abused in order to comply with FFP.

Lampard's contract with NYC doesn't start until after he leaves Man City. Technically he joined Man City as a free agent and once the English season is over he will then leave as a free agent for NYC.
ie he's not on loan at Man City from NYC

I'd agree in most circumstances but you have to remember we've given Arsenbal a game a fair few times recently, when was the last time we did that with Manu?
