BT Sport. 2 FA Cup QFs, 2 0-0 bore draws.

They're all running scared of having to play Tim Sherwood's Invincibles.

Yes. Bet Stevie G wishes he played for the mighty Villa now.

Gestede is very very good in the air. Won practically everything thrown up to him. I don't think he will be at Blackburn next season.

Didn't realise Manchester City played in the MLS!  Same shirt colour, same sponsor.

Credit to Blackburn for today's result.  Can see them giving Liverpool one or two problems in the replay too.  Bowler is doing a good job there and should they make the semis no one will fancy playing them.

I thought they did well, too, but surely this is about as wrong as it is possible to be?

Given a choice of them or Arsenal, Man United or Liverpool, I know which I'd opt for.

You may have a point and with no possiblity of playing at home for Rovers then they might be a good team for us to get.  Then again we have not played at Wembley that often recently either.  And I just think that at some point we will have to beat someone of a high standard if we are to win the thing.

So do I.

I just think Blackburn would be the exact opposite of the team nobody fancies playing. They're not going to be a pushover, but they're a much, much more desirable draw than most of the other teams.

Had a look on the main Rovers forum and most of their fans want him sacked as they saw Burnley go up last year and think they should be in the top 6 minimum.

But do forums really reflect the mejority opinion?  If they do want him gone I think that is really unfair.  When he took over they were in danger of dropping down to league one.  He has turned them into play-off contenders in no time and todays result just reconfirms what a good job he is doing.  Plus the Championship is a tough league with many big clubs eyeing up the play-offs.

What's that you say? You think a club's fans are unfair to want the manager sacked because he's doing a good job in the circumstances? Now where have I heard that before?

They're basically just the American branch of the Man City Arab Empire. Hence all the fuss over them deciding to keep hold of Lampard when he was supposed to have left to join their sister club in New York by now. They also have an Aussie team, Melbourne City.

I wonder how much of Lampards wages City are paying. With multiple club ownership you could see how the system might be abused in order to comply with FFP.

Yes I did like his performance last night and thought come end of the season he is exactly the type of player we should be going for.
