I see West Ham have a new shirt sponsor mid way through the season. Betway replacing Alpari. They could do with scoring a couple of goals too in the second half, or at the very least getting a point from this game.

Isn't that the second time West Ham have had a sponsor 'disappear' during the season?

Maybe they were down to play Spurs and Chelsea, who are playing in the League Cup final? I don't know, but that's my guess.

Yes , I heard Lineker say it at the end of MOTD this morning.

It's amazing watching Liverpool vs Man City on how much each team is able to play with the ball and retain possession. Then cast your mind back a few days on the job Barcelona did on Man City with around 65% possession.

Wow, what a magic goal from Coutinho 2-1 Liverpool. They have hit two incredible goals today from midfield. Exactly the threat we rarely if ever offer.

I  noticed how grudgingly Kompany shook hands with the Liverpool players at the end. He was gutted by the defeat. Toure was totally the opposite. I know he probably knows a few of them quite well through his brother but he didn't appear to be taking a massive defeat that badly.

I have watched so little football this season, Villa have been so depressing I find it hard watching other teams, a lot of whom are quite despicable, enjoying themselves.
