I have to say, I can understand why Matic reacted that way. It was a hideous challenge and the Burnley bloke didn't even get a yellow.

Amazing to think have beaten man too once in twenty years old league matches almost yet Swansea manages it twice in one season.

Good job he didn't get a yellow really.  At least the review panel or is it the ref saying if he had seen it as it was he would have red carded him to now give him a 3 match ban

Is Owen talking utter rubbish about the pushing to have I missed something?

Yes and no, Matic's first instinct being to roll over three times before getting angry (as did Ivanivic in the first half).

I hate it when a bet goes tits up first game. Might have to ring the wife and get her to pop into the bookies on her way back from the supermarket to stick a few quid on what were my remaining selections, Everton and Liverpool along with maybe a couple of the live European games.

She won't be chuffed.

I'm not surprised he rolled over before adrenalin kicked in. Totally different to the way Ivanovic behaved.

On the subject of serious foul play, I can't believe Neymar only got a yellow for his assault on a Malaga player last night.  If I knew how to post it up I would.

On reflection, his rolling over was a natural reaction to the impact, as was his follow-up.  Ivanivic though - what a knob.
