Well that was fun! I noticed that the pne players questioned man u's first goal, & then it wasn'the shown on the screen. I thought the pen was a pen at the time but only on the basis that it was obvious he was going to dive as soon as the goalie came out - he was always going to play for it.
Still thought the pne gave a good account of themselves & hopefully can build on this for promotion.

A Man U fan 2 rows behind us in the boxes seemed to think he should be allowed to celebrate Man Us goals & give it the biggun at all of us on the basis that he 'comes to North End every week!'. They are such tossers - sometimes you forget & then there they are - classless wankers.

May have been said previously, I very much doubt if Dowd would have allowed the first two if they were Preston "goals" and would not have given the penaty.  There are plenty of inadequate referees but Dowd takes it to a far higher level.

Personally I never forget that they are classless wankers. A few years back a United fan in my local was asking me to get him a ticket for the United end at Villa Park. I patiently explained I couldn't do that. A few others questioned why I was the only person in the pub who even attempted to be polite to him (nothing to do with him being a United fan, he really was a dislikeable bloke). I went into the pub after the game and he made a beeline for me to give me a load of over the top stick about Villa losing. I lost my rag and it was one of very few occasions somebody literally had to hold me back. Funnily enough, a couple of days later the bloke who held me back had a row with him for teasing the pub dog and hit him! I said to him "You told me to leave it the other day as he wasn't worth hitting". He replied "You shouldn't have listened to me, I was wrong!"

The perfect level for him in a system that suits his play. And if they come up and stick to that system then he might continue to score a few. Just that in the PL you need 11 players playing at all times not 10. You can get away with that kind of luxury a little down the leagues.

Too many pundits afraid to say it about English players.  Some honestly still believe it's still just a foreign thing, I'm sure.
