Neil Lennon will now mumble about Premier League quality, cannot afford mistakes, sending off cost us, we go again. So, he would sail through the interview with Randy Lerner.

If Liverpool make it to the final, and assuming we're not the opponents, I'll leave the country for the weekend rather than be subjected to the Stevie Gee birthday love in. Though it might be easier to stay home and remain incommunicado all weekend.

The red obviously cost them, but that miss by Gudjohnsen at 1-0 was massive. At least the Beeb are happy Liverpool won.

It was a really lazy header. What a waste.

I will walk to the top of Bredon Hill with a bottle of claret and some cheese.
Will probably fall over on the way down.

It's that bad I think I can honestly say I'd rather see Man Utd win the FA Cup. In fact, it would still probably be less of a sickener if Albion won it.

A picnic at Parsons Folly, looking out across the Vale. You are making me feel homesick!

On a sartorial note I thought Emile raised the standard at the BBC 100%. Lineker is looking permamently scruffy these days. Danny Murphy always looks as if he has dropped in just before going to the pub (and he suffers from a lack of education) and Shearer has no dress sense at all. Savage is Savage.

So well done to Heskey for showing them how it should be done.

Yorke's the worst dresser. Some of his suits are horrendous.

I just don't understand how the sports media in this country think that the average non-Liverpool fan in this country gives a toss about slipping Stevie and his birthday/cup final/last game for the reds.

Who actually cares?
