Is anyone else a secret fan of The Football League Show on BBC1 (after MOTD)?

I love it. It lasts FOREVER (well, about an hour and a half), and even manages to put up with that grating bald twat with his over-familiar manner AND Steve Claridge while still being watchable.

Yes, yes, yes, training for next season etc etc etc.

It would never happen but why dont they combine it with the prem so we see the best of the whole league rather than any dull goalless game in the prem......usually involving us

Bollocks. Swansea score. I've got the Saint goalie and a defender in my FL team.

Considering the players they lost in the summer and those that they have out injured, Southamptons season has been superb.

I really hope that they can hang on for a Chumpions League place

Swansea touched the ball 3 times in the Saints penalty area. Saints touched it 44 times in the Swansea one.

I needed a Southampton win to complete a roll up.

Yes, I had Arsenal as one of my other selections.

As God is praised for playing such a key role in SS's recovery, does that mean She was a real tw*t to allow him to get injured in the first place?

Daniel Sturridge - "I'm grateful to God I was able to come back from injury".

Oh do fuck off.

With your fucking shit goal celebration.

I know his uncle Dave very well. We managed betting shops for the same company just down the road from each other for about seven years. Nice guy. His uncle Derek (Dave's twin) is a teacher, his aunt is a 'super headmistress' who has been in The Evening Mail for her record of turning round under performing schools. His old man is a youth coach who was on the books of Small Heath once. Then there is his uncle Simon who played for Small Heath and Stoke and his uncle Dean who played for Derby, Leicester and Wolves and came to one of our works Christmas parties at The Lytton Tree in town once and drank a load of booze without chipping into the kitty. He liked a bet on the dogs but wasn't very good at picking them. It suited me because it boosted my profit margin when he was in the area as he wasn't really supposed to bet in his brothers shop.

Much better than MOTD! It is my Tuesday night catch up with my youngest as my wife goes out to her Maths class.
