My Everton supporting mate is convinced they are going down, he's been saying it for weeks.

If they do they'll still be above us come May.

I think we'll finish above them.

That's the first time I've seen Everton for ages. On the basis of that, they're even more boring than us.

Does anyone else think that this so called best league in the world is actually pretty ordinary with 5 clubs with money and talent and the rest being really very average? The Premier League is slowly shooting itself in the foot. Tonight's game was a good example of the general standard.

I can't say any of 'the big guns' have blown me away this season that often. Probably why West Ham and Southampton are right up there.

I'm not sure that there are even 5 top quality clubs in the league. Right now, Chelsea (spits), Citeh at a stretch (and depending what week you get them).

How good do you suppose the standard was in Stuttgart 0 - 0 Paderborn or Granada 0 - 0 Almeria?

I wouldn't complain about the poor standard too much. It might be what saves us.

I agree. Average of half a goal a game and we still aren't in the relegation places.

Exactly, where do you get five from? Three at a stretch, the two who just buy the league every year and Arsenal if they are bothered

You look at that Everton team, and I personally think they have a top 6 group, super players in every position.  Managed by the new messiah.  Terrible.

City and Chelsea can defend well (most of the time). I'm not sure you could put together a title winning defence from the Arsenal and United squads put together.
